Lina “Classic” Falcon grew up between Providence, RI and The Caribbean amidst a concrete jungle and the country hills of Puerto Rico. An artistic visionary, Lina was determined to carve a space for herself within the fashion world early on despite her struggle to find an authentic space for her Classic brand.
Lina has trained under and worked for top wardrobe stylists, including Andy Falmen for John Varvatos, Misa Hylton, Jacque Reid and others . She began training as an assistant at IMG for NYFW and model test shoots while building her portfolio and completing her studies at New York School of Design. Despite a personal tragedy ripping her from the glamorous world of fashion, Lina has persevered to become a knowledgable pattern maker and wardrobe stylist.
Lina has styled for celebrity and fashion clientele including John Varvatos, Misa Hylton, Fabolous, Laurieann Gibson, Cesar Ramirez, Rocaway, Uptown Magazine, VH1’s Lala’s Full Court Life, Po Johnson, Zeke Thomas, VH1’s Black Ink Crew and more. Now, she’s preparing to present her own collection at NYFW in February 2017.
Lina has worked as lead stylist for a multitude of commercial and music video work landing her work on MTV, VH1, Paper Magazine, Billboards in Time Square, BET, ABC’s Good Morning America, OK! Magazine and more. Lina is currently finalizing her 1:1 Classic collection in New York, New York which will become available in early 2017 after February’s NYFW presentation.
