From an early age Nathan held a deep passion for creativity and self expression. Moving from his small midwestern hometown to Chicago at 17 years old, he began his hairdressing career at Sine Qua Non. After completing a rigorous Sassoon based training program, he built a large clientele, became a styling and cutting educator has proudly served on R+Co’s creative council.
Yearning to advance his career, and pursue work in fashion and entertainment, Nathan moved to New York City after 8 years in Chicago. Upon arrival, he began working behind the chair at Cutler Salon’s Brooklyn location and quickly became a staple in Cutler’s NYFW team working backstage at shows including Telfar, Vaquera, La Perla, John Varvatos, and more.
Drawing inspiration from street style and LGBTQ+ Chicago and New York nightlife, Nathan is known for creating looks that are bold and striking, yet clean. His work has been featured in GayTimes, OUT magazine, Wolfy, WWD and Vogue.com to name a few. Nathan works with celebrities and entertainers including: Adam Rippon, Angelica Ross, Billy Porter, MJ Rodriguez, Sharon Needles, Tati007, Munroe Bergdorf, Shea Couleé and more.
