Naima J. is a Los Angeles–based celebrity makeup artist whose work lives at the intersection of beauty, storytelling, and on-camera precision. With years of experience across television, film, and live productions, she is known for her ability to create refined, camera-ready looks that enhance both character and performance.

Her credits include acclaimed productions such as Claws, All’s Fair and A Black Lady Sketch Show, as well as the film The Old Guard. She has also contributed to large-scale live events, including the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show, American Idol, and Oscars, demonstrating her versatility across both scripted and live environments.

Naima is especially recognized for her ongoing collaboration with Emmy Award–winning actress Niecy Nash-Betts, where her work has helped define memorable, character-driven beauty moments. In addition to her artistry, she has served as a department head and Key on multiple productions, bringing leadership, efficiency, and creative direction to every set she enters. She is 2x Emmy nominated, 2x Guild nominated, NAACP nominated and Hollywood Beauty Award nominated.
