Proud of Us featured a town hall style talk focused on celebrating our creative community and giving folks flowers while they're still here to receive them. Our event hosts included James Vincent, Yolonda Frederick-Thompson, T. Cooper, Kim Baker, Michael Tran + EJ Jamele.​​

Giving Flowers Today: Celebrating Our Creative Community

This powerful conversation brought together a room full of remarkable voices who shared insight, experience, and ideas with honesty and heart. Together, we explored how to meaningfully recognize the often-overlooked architects of our cultural landscape — from legendary figures to rising talents shaping what's next. In a world that rarely pauses to honor those transforming it, we surfaced real ways to uplift one another, celebrate our collective brilliance, and give creatives their flowers while they can still receive them.

 

Our panel featured award-winning makeup artists, founders, and product developers for Fenty Beauty — including Emmy-nominated talent and top educators. Each host led with intention, sharing their expertise while making space for every voice. In true PR🔴UD OF US spirit, the conversation honored all contributions and ensured every guest felt seen, heard, and celebrated.

Town Hall Hosts

Our hosts included some of the most iconic and sought after makeup artists in the world, along with established beauty brand founders, Emmy-nominated makeup artists, and expert educators. All of our hosts are also expert speakers and led the conversation with intention while allowing for all of our event guests to feel heard and supported in the room without anyone overtaking the conversation.

THE GIFTING + BRAND EXPERIENCE

​We worked with 14 brands to create a one-of-a-kind gifting experience for all of our guests. We had 100 gift bags provided which included product from YSL Beauty, Unite Hair, Danessa Myricks Beauty, Rebels and Outlaws, MyKitCo, LARUCE Beauty, I Wanna Be Prettty, Glamazon Beauty Cosmetics, Colleen Rothschild Beauty, Bobbi Brown, Ashunta Sheriff Beauty, and Alcone Company. We also included printed collateral from 213Deli and $650 gift cards for I Wanna Be Prettty.

THE MOVEMENT IS GROWING

The impact of PR🔴UD OF US is still echoing. Social mentions, posts, and stories are climbing daily — and the thank-you messages haven’t stopped. From DMs to emails, guests are asking us to bring the experience to LA, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, and beyond. The momentum is real, and the demand is growing — PR🔴UD OF US is the kind of cultural moment brands need to be part of.
It was incredible, it was such a great conversation and an amazing way to end the day. There were so many people I got to catch up with who I haven’t seen in ages. The impact and intention was palpable and I can not wait to be at the next event!
